Process Of Elimination

The process of elimination follows the identification of patterns and links as its when they can start to eliminate certain suspects that would have come up in the previous investigation. This stages importance varies on how many suspects or inquiries you have, however this stage is very important none the less. As it makes the police able to narrow down the suspects till they find the main suspect who hopefully committed the crime.

In the case of Christine Jessop and Guy Paul because they had been focusing on Guy Paul they had no other suspects to eliminate, this meant that this stage wasn't included in this investigation because it wasn't needed however they should have not focused on Guy Paul and at least had a few suspects just in case.
